J043 Army Chore Jacket

DESCRIPTION
  • Description
  • The J043 is based on a vintage original 1943 U.S.
  • Navy Type N-3 Jacket from our archive.
  • We’ve taken the original collar shape and emphasized it’s subtle curved point, and cut the front panels so they naturally roll out like a tailored jacket lapel.
  • The J043 is cut slightly oversized with an extended shoulder-line to emphasize it’s military roots.
  • The three exterior patch pockets are the same size and shape of the original 1943 version, which happens to be the same “wine glass” shape used in Neapolitan tailoring.
  • For the hardware we’ve chosen Japanese-made metal buttons due to their clean look and long-lasting nature.
  • For the fabric, we’ve selected a 1940’s Military reproduction fabric in a classic lightweight HBT (Herringbone Twill).
  • It’s perfect for those middle seasons, and true to the Informale approach will break in beautifully and develop character and patina over time.
  • In our eyes, this is the perfect Chore Jacket.
