DESCRIPTION
  • The classic trilby is a design icon, and this version in rabbit fur felt is a fine example of its gentlemanly appeal.
  • It has its origins in the well-heeled society of 19th century London; the hat gets its name from the 1894 novel by George du Maurier entitled ‘Trilby’.
  • When the book was adapted for the London stage, the distinctive hat worn by the lead character attracted such attention from the smart set of the era that the title became synonymous with the hat.
