  • The Field Boot pattern is dedicated to the long weekends spent outdoors.
  • It has the feel of a vintage leather hunting boot, utilizing stout leathers and the time-tested Goodyear-welt construction.
  • Most importantly, leather components are used throughout the boot to create the foundation to withstand years of wear.
  • The shaft is slightly taller than our average boot, but the unlined shaft construction and padded collar offer a soft feel from the first wear.
  • While the pattern and robust materials create a strong base, the key is the full-fitting Floyd last.
  • It prioritizes forefoot freedom which is crucial for all-day comfort.
  • The Field boot is designed for walking, working, and long weekend adventures.
  • The Badalassi Carlo Tannery's Minerva leather is one of our favorites.
  • This boutique Italian tannery specializes in vegetable tanning.
  • During the process, the leather is placed in a 'Bottali', which is a large barrel that rotates, allowing the organic tanning substances to stay in contact with the article.
  • A complete cycle may take 30 - 35 days.
  • The result is an incredibly rich leather with transparency and depth.
  • The leather can have prominent vamp breaks and a variation of colors.
  • Since this is a light-colored vegetable-tanned article, there may be areas on the boot which have darker hues.
