DESCRIPTION
  • The word “diesel” doesn’t exactly remind us of something flashy but instead of something built for strength and longevity.
  • This is our rendition of the basic plain toe boot pattern—made with nothing but proven leather uppers, lining, and insole.
  • Tusting & Burnett's Native Sokoto is vegetable-tanned goat leather.
  • The process begins with raw Nigerian goat hides, which are hand-twisted to highlight their distinctive grain lines.
  • These hides are then vegetable-tanned using bagaruwa seeds.
  • The tannery finishes the leather by hand-staining it before tumbling it to enhance the unique grain patterns.
  • It is an incredibly soft leather that feels broken in right out of the box.
  • Due to the tanning process, no two hides are alike.
