- Our cashmere rollneck is inspired by the turtleneck sweaters perennially sported by actors from the French New Wave cinema movement, counting the likes of Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jacques Charrier among its champions.
- Stylish, avant-garde, yet relaxed and elegant, the Belmondo rollneck is perfect for wearing on its own or for layering under tailoring.
- made in the great tradition of Scottish heirloom knitwear craftsmanship which means that the cashmere yarn is knitted densely using an abundance of the luxurious material, giving it its stiff and robust handle, the idea being that this will allow it to soften naturally over time with wear, so that the garment can last generations.
- Cashmere is an extraordinary fibre, and we use the very highest grade of it so that the “backbone” of the garment (which is its raw materials) is the crème de la crème of its kind, setting a solid foundation for the rest of the construction of the garment, ensuring its longevity.

- Quality of knit: knitted, hand-finished and washed by fourth generation heritage knitwear specialists in Hawick, the Scottish Borders, a region whose expertise in the trade is without compare.
- Garments are knitted tightly to minimise gaps and to ensure longevity.

- The sweater is "fully-fashioned", as signified by the faint-dotted lines along the sleeve-head of the jumper.

- Individual pieces of the sweater are “hand-linked” - a meticulous process by which each tiny knit-loop at the end of each piece of the sweater is linked together by hand, ensuring the seams are the straightest and strongest.
