DESCRIPTION
- This exclusive fabric is based on the analyzation and knowledge given by investigation of light and durable denim fabric which has been applied to the military fatigue pants and workwear, during 1920s to 1960s.
- The yarn shape which had been made from the primitive machinery at that time is revived by constructing uneven yarn which has srub and nep, and randomly set several different count yarn.
- Moreover, by indicating machinery out from the old style shuttle weaving machine which can revive similar yarn tension, we could accomplish rich three dimensional shape even though fabric itself is light ounce.
- １９２０年代～６０年代にかけて、ワークウェアや軍隊内のファティーグパンツに採用されていた軽量で堅牢なデニムたちの分析から得た知見を基に設計されたエクスクルーシブ素材です。
- 当時のプリミティブな設備から生み出されていた糸形状は、不均一なスラブとネップを含む糸のレシピ作成と、それを異なる数種の番手で経糸にランダムに配列することで再現されています。
- さらに、旧式シャトル織機の中でも、特に当時に近い糸テンションを再現可能な機種のみを指定することで、ライトオンスでも複雑で豊かな凹凸形状をを実現しています。
