- Sugar Cane is a Japanese clothing brand who honors the history of workwear by reconstructing and reproducing iconic workwear pieces down to the smallest detail with pure Japanese quality and finesse.
- Today Sugar Cane is a renowned denim brand with a unique market position as one of the best denim manufacturers in Japan.
- A 1925 high-back overall featuring patented workwear details, including a ruler pocket (patented April 1919) and a pocket-watch pocket (patented November 1916).
- The short, streamlined bib incorporates a 3-in-1 pocket designed to hold a pocket watch, pencil, and timebook.
- On the right rear, the ruler pocket is separated from the hip pocket—a construction detail typical of the period.
- The strap crossover diamond is reinforced with stitching and finished with a woven label.
- The garment is secured with brass tack buttons embossed with the brand name, while the fly uses plain donut buttons.
