- A 1930s-inspired waistcoat crafted from new slub yarn cotton canvas, mud-dyed in Belafonte’s signature Doromole process.
- The vest is slightly cropped, designed to pair perfectly with high-waisted trousers.
- Featuring twin hand pockets, a chest pocket, and a buckle-back detail, this Service Vest combines functionality with vintage-inspired style.

- Mud Dye Process:
- Each vest is slightly unique due to the traditional mud-dyeing process, resulting in a beautiful, one-of-a-kind patina.
- The fabric is first soaked in a natural mordant made from plant seeds to help fix the dye.
- Mud is then applied by hand to one side of the fabric, which is dried in the sun.
- Initially grey, the fabric is stored indoors, where it slowly develops into warm brown and rust tones over six months.
- Afterward, it is washed and sun-dried again.
