DESCRIPTION
- The W8 is our interpretation of the classic WWII-era Type II jacket, built with a boxy silhouette.
- Drawing from the original proportions of mid-century denim jackets, we’ve introduced our own subtle adjustments through volume, balance, and construction.
- A slightly dropped shoulder and pleated back create a softer shape with ease through the body, while the dropped front hem references the proportions found on traditional western jackets and pairs naturally with our high rise jeans.
- Finished with tonal arcuate detailing on the chest pockets, designed to reveal itself gradually through time and wear, alongside a dead-stock 1930s vintage cinch-back buckle.
- Made using our core 14oz rinsed selvedge denim, woven in Japan by Collect Mills.
- The rinse softens the fabric from the outset while retaining the character and depth of the indigo, allowing the jacket to continue ageing beautifully with wear.
