DESCRIPTION
  • "This coat was part of our immensely talented designer Samantha's senior fashion school project.
  • Photos of that sample were one of the reasons we hired her.
  • We've been planning on adding it into the collection for a few winters but patterning challenges due to our chosen fabric (our incredible knitted “fohair” boucle) delayed the release until now.
  • No time like the present.
  • The Fabry is a single breasted topcoat that features the top collar and lapel more often seen in double breasted silhouettes (the best of both worlds).
  • It has an applied front and back yoke, as well as two curved hidden zip closure pockets at the front that are mirrored by two oversized game pockets at the back.
  • What we like most about this is that it's only available in a single size.
  • On Samantha - an XS/S - it's beautifully oversized and dramatic.
  • On me - an XL - it wears like a classic below-knee coat made from sweater knitted mohair.
